Classes for Kids 2-7 years old:

This is a 50 minute class and is designed for kids between 2-7 years old.
Great class for siblings! We will explore STEM activities through hands on
projects each week. Some are group projects and some are to take home. We encourage socialization, confidence, and the love of learning! Parents are welcome to hang out or drop off. (Depending on age)

Classes for kids 7+ year old:

This is an hour long class designed for kids 7+. (Exceptions can be made) This Class will challenge the students to use trial and error, think outside of the box, and problem solve. Each week students will have a new challenge to work on either together or as individuals. This class is designed as a drop off but parents are always welcome to stay.

Sessions are $160 for 8 weeks and meet on Wednesdays 12:30pm-1:30

Weapons of the Past

We will be learning about some old-time weapons and recreate them in class. We will discuss where they were originally from and how they were used. This class is intended for kids 7+ and is a drop off class.

Hand Sewing

We will be doing a different project each week using different hand sewing techniques. Kids will have the opportunity to use their creativity to make their projects their own. This class is intended for kids 7+ and is a drop off class but parents are more than welcome to stay if they would like.

Painting

We will be painting on canvas and other surfaces with different types of paint. They all behave differently so we will play with this idea while making some works of art. The class will also cover some examples of famous painters and their styles. Please wear painting clothes but there will be smocks available. This 4 week class is intended for students 7+ as a drop off.

Gym Game Activities

We will be playing different games you would traditional find in a gym class. I have games that can also be played in the room so weather should not affect us. These will be team games with a playful competitive purpose. This 4 week class is intended for students 7+ as a drop off

ANATOMY

Each week we will cover a different area of the human body. This class is designed to teach basic knowledge of the body using diagrams, lectures, models, and hands on projects.

Oven Baked Clay

Your kids will learn how to make beautiful, colorful, durable beads. Some classes the students will be invited to make small statues and other creations. All projects will be baked and returned to the students each class

STEM

STEM has become so important in classrooms these days! Having skills in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math will be important in almost every job. In this class, students will have the opportunity to work together and separately on many great projects.

Paper Mache

Kids love paper Mache! We will spend 4 weeks making an ongoing project in class that students can take home at the end. The kids will learn how to build a frame for their project and then begin to cover it with paper Mache. (natural materials used like flour) We will cover the piece using tissue paper and mod podge to make a colorful masterpiece!

Manual Machines

Learning how things move and how to recreate it, is the basics of engineering. Students will build their own manual powers machines each week to take home to share what they’ve learned.
